Joseph L. Ciletti

Joseph L. Ciletti Sr., 87, of Chewton passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Ellwood City Hospital following an extended illness.

Born at his home in Chewton on December 31, 1921, he was the son of the late John and Susanne Labriola Ciletti.

Mr. Ciletti retired from the Ellwood City Works of US Steel where he was a machinist. He also worked for Ferranti Upholstery and Carpet. A US Army Air Corp Veteran, he served during WWII.

He was a member of the American Legion Post # 749 in Wampum. Joe enjoyed reading, woodworking and watching wrestling. He loved spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lucy M. Passero Ciletti, children: Rose Marie (Gary)Arnold of New Castle, Joseph L. (Rosalie) Ciletti Jr. of Chewton, Susanna Ciletti of Chewton, brother, James (Jean) Ciletti of New Galilee, seven grandchildren; Louis (Jami) Arnold of New Castle, Joseph (Jackie) Arnold of Germantown, MD, Christina (John) Ruggieri of Portersville, Mary (Bill) Doyle of New Castle, Lisa Ciletti of Doha Qatar, John (Dawn) Ciletti, Statesville, NC, Kristen (Kory) Snyderof Mohawk, eleven great grandchildren; Angelo, Andre, and Adriona Arnold, Jacob and Sammy Arnold, Julia and Emily Ruggieri, Ava and Jadyn Doyle, Cameron and Mia Ciletti, and two nieces.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 3 from 3-7 at the Marshall Funeral Home Main St. Wampum, PA.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ciletti will held at the Marshall Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with his son in law, Pastor Gary Arnold of the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Bessemer officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Veteran Honor Guard.

Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
