Losia Mae Daugherty, 99, of Big Beaver Blvd. Wampum, PA (Big Beaver Boro) died on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a short illness.

Born May 10, 1910, in Hoytdale, she was the daughter of the late Oliver O. and Lozhia Straley Daugherty.

Mae retired with over 35 years as a clerk from the G.C. Murphy Co. in Beaver Falls.  She was a member of the Cannelton Baptist Curch.  She was a member and past grand of the Rebecca Lodger of the IOFF.  She was alos an avid Pirate fan.

She is survived by a sister in law, Viola Daugherty of Wampum.  SHe was a special aunt who was loved by all her nieces and nephews and their families.  She will be missed by all who know her.

The last of her family she was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8pm, Wednesday, September 2 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Main Street, Wampum, PA.

Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2009, at 11:00am with Rev. Dale Regner of the Cannelton Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
