Herman Dornick, 86, of Ellwood City died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at his residence.

Born February 25, 1923 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Galic Dornick. He was married to the late Susan Simone Dornick. Herman graduated from Lincoln High School and continued his education at Penn State University. He worked in the Sales Department of B.&W. Steel Co in Beaver Falls. Mr. Dornick was a Navy Veteran serving in WWII. He enjoyed his motorcycle and antique cars. He was also an avid sports fan. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews.
