Minnie T. Lasko

Minnie T. Lasko, 90, formerly of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Jameson Memorial Hospital.

Born May 31, 1919 in Windber, (Somerset Co.), PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony andRose Grieco. She was married to the late Pete Lasko who died on January 16, 1971.

Mrs. Lasko was Catholic by faith. She was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include three children, Peter (Phyllis) Lasko of New Beaver Boro, Barbara (John) Miller of Wampum, Richard (Janet) Lasko of New Castle, four grandchildren: Kim Nulph, Ron Grinnen, Sharon Macri, and Brian Lasko, eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

The last of her family she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 1 from 5-8 at the Marshall Funeral Home Main St. Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor David Alleman officiating.

Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
