Charles M. Main

Charles M. Main, 82, formerly of Ellwood City died on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Evergreen Nursing Center following an extended illness.

Born February 9, 1927 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Clara Hogue Main.  He was married to the late Marian Martin Main for 45 years when she died on August 19, 2000.

Mr. Main retired from Mathews Conveyer where he was a fitter.  He was Protestant by faith.  Charles was an Army Veteran serving in Korea.

Survivors include a sister, Myrtle Elizabeth Hardy of Ellwood City and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Duane A. Main.

A private burial was held at Clinton Cemetery
