Albert L. "Busser" McClain


Albert L. "Busser" McClain, 65, a lifelong resident of Homewood, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Kindred Hospital - Beaver following an extended illness.

Born July 27, 1944 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Willis A. and Helen "Faye" Stanyard McClain Sr. "Busser" graduated in 1962 from Beaver Falls High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Fairbanks, Alaska during the Vietnam Conflict.

He worked as a maintenance foreman at Mayer China in Beaver Falls, as an electrician for the Babcock & Wilcox Company in Koppel, and most recently as an electrical sales associate with the Home Depot in Chippewa, where everyone knows him as "Al".

Surviving are his son and family, Michael A. and Lori Lee McClain and his grandchildren, Erik, Lindsay, and Tanner McClain, Patterson Twp. his daughter and family, Hope and Dave Denes, and his grandchildren, Zachary & Logan Denes, Homewood and his brother, Willis A. "Sonny" McClain Jr., Homewood, and his niece Theresa Master. Also surviving are many cousins and his extended Belczyk, Stingle, and Stablow families.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 10 at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St. Wampum. Rev. Gary L. Hilton of the Homewood United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Marshall Funeral Home.
