Carol S. White


Carol S. White, 65, of Deemer Ave. Ellwood City (Ellport) died on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Beaver following a short illness. Born October 6, 1944 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Richard Timblin and Edith Perdue Timblin of New Castle.

Carol worked at CV Elementary School in Seneca Valley School District. She was affiliated with the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church. A 1962 graduate of Shenango High School, Mrs. White enjoyed crocheting, reading and shopping.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 45 years, David A. White, whom she married November 21, 1964, three daughters; Jennifer White, Michelle Bobbert, and Susan White, all of Ellwood City, a sister, Charlene Troggio of New Castle, two brothers, Randy Timblin of Ohio, Les Timblin of New Castle, and four grandchildren, Darren Strohecker, Samuel Musser, Kaitlyn Strohecker and Benjamin Bobbert. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 4 and 7-9 on Monday, January 18 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard J. Byerly officiating. Interment will follow in Wurtemburg Cemetery .
