Ethel Lucille Wigton
Ethel Lucille Wigton, 93, of Ellwood City died Tuesday April 20 2010, at the Ellwood City Hospital. Born in Harrisville March 13, 1917, the daughter of the late Chester and Sarah Glenn.
She was married to the late B. Don Wigton, who died January 10, 1998. She was a member of Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church and had been very active in the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 212, where she had been a member for 50 years. She was a life member of the Wurtemburg Perry Twp. V.F.D. Auxiliary and a member of the Ellwood City Women’s Club. She dedicated her life to her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas R. Wigton and his wife Jeanne of Ellwood City, Terry Wigton and his wife Janet of Pocomoke City, Md.; two granddaughters, Wendy and her husband Greg Rinehart, Kelly and her husband Wil Schultz; four great grandchildren, Evan and Ellie Rinehart, Audrey and Corinne Schultz, brother Clair and his wife Wilda Glenn, of Butler and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister Aleta Osborne, and brother Gaylord Glenn.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 1p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Richard Byerly will officiate. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. An Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday. .
If desired contributions may be made in her memory to the Ellwood City Chapter No. 212 Order of the Eastern Star or the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church.
