Jacquelin R. "Jackie" Bokor

Jacquelin R. "Jackie" Bokor, 80, formerly of Aetna Dr. Ellwood City died on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Haven Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Born October 17, 1929 in Newton Falls, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph J. Burgin and the late Martha Ann Campbell Burgin Mook.

She was married to the late John Bokor who died in 1991. Jackie previously worked at Matthews Conveyor, Meiters and the Passavant Health Center. She was a member of the First Church of God. A graduate of Lincoln High School, Jackie was active with the Hungarian Home and its Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing with her companion, Lemoyne "Boone" Hartzell.

Survivors include a son, Scott Burgin of New Castle, stepchildren, Gary Bokor, Lori Perkowitch, Steve Bokor all of Ellwood City, one sister, Barbara Molnar of Dover, DE, a brother, Jerry Mook of Castlewood, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Szabo and a stepson, Joseph Bokor.

Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 on Friday, April 30 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Tom O'Brien will officiate. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
