Margaret S. King


Margaret S. King, 91, of Northview Estates Ellwood City died on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness.

Born December 4, 1918 in Export, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Borland and Priscilla Maude Spear Stark. She was married on June 17, 1940 to the late David Owen King who died November 29, 1998.

Mrs. King was a school teacher at the Koppel Elementary School for 20 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Peg enjoyed playing the organ and was a former member of the Ellwood City Art Club.

Survivors include four children; Bob (Maria) King of Dallas, Texas, Beth Hunter (Dan Krut) of Enon Valley, Sue (Bob) Green of Ellwood City, Bill (June) King of Ellwood City, a sister in law, Evelyn King of Ellwood City, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son in law, Pat and Blaine Wilkins.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with her pastor, Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Arrangement have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home
