Robert L. Eversole

Robert L. Eversole, 87, formerly of Wampum and West Pittsburg died on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Katera's Cove in Big Beaver Boro following an extended illness.

Born April 18, 1922 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Lingle and Iva Beasley Eversole. He was married to the late Doris Wood Eversole and then to the late Dorothy Jones Eversole. Bob retired after 42 years with Medusa Cement Co.

He was the President of the Local Union # 173 for over 20 years. He was a member of the West Pittsburg United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Scott and Tammie Eversole of Chewton, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In addition to both wives, he was preceded in death by son, Terry B. Eversole, two brothers and a sister.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 on Monday, March 15 at the Marshall Funeral Home Main St. Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Rex A. Wasser officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
