Helen J. Reeher, 86, formerly of Penndale Rd. Wampum died on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Friendship Ridge Nursing Center following a lengthy illness.

Born May 18, 1923 in Wampum, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Julia Laughlin Hackett. She was married to the late Albert Reeher Sr. who died July 3, 2003. Helen was a member of Queen of Heaven Church. She graduated from Wampum High School in 1942.

She enjoyed country western music and gardening. Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Albert R. "Ray" and Connie Reeher Jr. of Wampum, sister, Eileen Blinn of New Castle, granddaughter, Sharon Rae Williams of Ellwood City and eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Catherine, Rebecca, Joshua, Emily, Julia, Anna, and Nathan Williams.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday, September 8 at the Marshall Funeral Home Main St. Wampum. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Queen of Heaven Church on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery .
