Beth Izzo

Beth Izzo, 65, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless following a year and a half long illness.

Born May 5, 1960, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence "Pick" and Shirley Wimer McNany.

Beth graduated from Lincoln in 1978 and spent many years working as a bartender at the Hazel Manor. She attended Park Gate Baptist Church and was an active member of the Ellwood City Moose Club. She was fond of cats and enjoyed their company. Most of all, she cherished moments with her family.

Survivors include her son, Dylan Weingartner of Ellwood City; sister-in-law, Sharon McNany of Rialto, CA; three cousins, Christy, Kathy, and Vickie; three nieces, Hailey Lechner, Linzy Miller, and Breana Miller; two stepdaughters, Michelle Izzo Prenatt and Mellodie Kaszowski; stepson, Jeffrey Davis, and her former husband, Jesse Weingartner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Izzo in 2014, brother Barry McNany, uncle Fred and aunt Sally Yovich, and aunt Shirley Tritt Wimer.

A private memorial service will be held at the Ellport Community Church on November 30, 2025, at 1:30 pm. Pastor Tom Milnes will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
