Carmen N. Bucci, 79, of Wampum passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.
Born February 19, 1943 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Cannami Bucci. He was married to Kathleen J. Smith Bucci on May 23, 1970. She passed away on March 12, 2022.
Carmen had graduated from Lincoln High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army. For most of his life, Carmen was a steel mill worker. Carmen was a member of the Wampum Fire Department for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Carmen enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and music.
Survivors include two daughters, Nicole Byers and Tiffany Gibson both of Wampum; two sons, Robert (Allison) Bucci of Enon Valley and Mark (Jessica) Bucci of Ellwood City, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; five sisters, Angie Cogliano of Harmony, Mary Manning of Hookstown, Diane Oravitz of Hookstown, Jean (Lou) Varrato of Lima, OH and Jenny (Jack) Choff of New Jersey and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Kathy, his in laws Joseph and Margaret Smith and Brothers in Law Tom Manning and Tom Harding.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 10 am at the Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Military Rites will be observed.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the Funeral Home.
