Cindi A. Whitford

Cindi A. Whitford, 55, of New Galilee passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 16, 1969, in Warwick, RI, she was the daughter of Edwin Whitford and Marjorie (Whitford) Heise.

In Cindi's younger years she worked many jobs as an employee and a manager. Her favorite job, which she held for the longest time, was serving as the manager of Engine Foodlane in Rhode Island. She was a former member of the New Beaver Borough Volunteer Fire Department. A people person, Cindi was a hard worker with a passion for singing, a zest for life, and cherished trips with her family to the beach.

Survivors include her parents Edwin and Marjorie of Rhode Island; domestic companion, Scott C. Swager with whom she resided; son, Zachary; daughter, Kyrie; two grandchildren, Bella and Zarah; three sisters, Lori Warburton of Rhode Island, Michelle Whitford of Florida, and Robin Walker of Nevada, and two brothers, Joshua Whitford of Rhode Island and Richard Whitford of California.

She was preceded in death by her brother Edwin Jr. "Tiger" Whitford.

A Celebration of Cindi's life will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home.
