Donald E. Hawk III, 53, of West Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully with his mother by his side Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beaver Falls following a courageous four-year battle with MS.
Born November 9, 1972, in New Brighton, he was the son of Kathleen DeMauro and the late Donald E. Hawk II. He graduated from Union Area High School in 1991.
Donald was employed as a truck driver for many companies and bartended at both the Croatian Club and the former Mouse Trap in West Pittsburg. He formerly served as a Taylor Twp. Volunteer Fireman. Donald was a very kind and giving person who enjoyed being the life of the party. Known as "Hawk Daddy" while singing karaoke in the local bars, he was best known for his wild storytelling and karaoke performances at the Croatian Club in West Pittsburg. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife Vilma of the Phillippines; mother, Kathleen of Ellwood City; sister, Angela Nickum of Cranberry Twp. He is also survived by his nephew, Landon Nickum; two nieces, Lilia and Luica Nickum, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Martin Seman and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2025, at 4 pm at the Ellport Community Church. Pastor Tom Milnes will officiate.
