Eileen F. Bamford

Eileen F. Bamford, 94, of Zelienople (formerly of Ellwood City and Oklahoma) passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Lutheran SeniorLife Passavant Community in Zelienople, surrounded by her family.

Born December 10, 1930, in Aliquippa, Eileen married the late Robert "Jim" Bamford Jr in January of 1953. Eileen worked as an RN and also served as the Lincoln High School Nurse for many years. She was Presbyterian by faith. She enjoyed golfing with her family and friends, was an avid and skilled quilter and seamstress, and liked to read. Most of all Eileen cherished moments spent with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include son, Robert (Cindi) Bamford III of Houston, TX; three daughters, Ellen (Gary) Jackson of Ellwood City, Amy (Jon) Coblyn of Wellesley, MA, and Mary Jo (Jim) Elmer of Reinholds, PA; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jim Bamford in 2013 and her grandson Mark McConahy.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday July 15, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm at the Seaman Memorial Lutheran Church, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople PA. Retired Pastor Bev Banyay will conduct the services.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Passavant Library, Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
