G. Eileen Shearer

G. Eileen Shearer, 98, of New Beaver Borough, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 26 at her residence.

She was born December 13, 1922 in the Wampum area,to the late Clarence and Geraldine (Cook) Boots. She was married to Charles (Chuck) Shearer for 78 years. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2020.

Eileen was an active member of First Assembly of God in New Castle.

She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed decorative painting and art work. Eileen enjoyed spending time with her husband, Chuck, and family during the summer at the cottage along the Allegheny River in Oil City. She loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters; Patricia Bright of North Beaver, Cheryl McClain of New Beaver, and Pamela (Carl) Andersson of Chicago; one son, Reggie (LeeAnn) of Wampum; one brother, Clarence Boots of North Beaver; and nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother; Donald Boots, one sister; Betty Koch, granddaughter; Lisa Bright, and one great granddaughter; Montana Lynn Foster.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:30 pm on Wednesday June 30, 2001 at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street, Wampum. Pastor Cliff Reynolds of Word Alive Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
