Gary B. Guy, 79, of Ellwood City went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver.

Born January 19, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Lewis B. and Ruth Davis Guy. He was married to Sylvia Carroll Guy for 55 years.

Gary was the owner and operator of a Little Debbie Distributor. He graduated from Wampum High School in 1959 where he was a member of the 1958 State Championship Basketball Team. He was also a member of the Concord United Methodist Church and of the Masonic Lodge # 599. Gary never missed a chance to support his children and grandchildren with their sporting events.

In addition to his parents Lewis and Ruth, Gary was preceded in death by his son William J. Eller in 1998; father and mother in law John and Dorothy Carroll of North Sewickley Township; brother in law, Jack Deal of Wayne Township and a sister in law Fran Guy of Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; three daughters, Dawn (Jim) Miller of Nevada, Hope (Richard) Pacella of Ellwood City and Debra (David) Gillingham of Missouri; one son, Robert (Cheri) Eller of Brighton Township; grandson, William (Jennifer) Eller of Ellwood City; two sisters, Sharyn Deal of Wayne Twp and Patti (Jon) Miller of Ohio; brother, Brian Guy of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday December 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Friends will also be received on Thursday December 30, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor John Phipps of the Concord United Methodist Church will officiate.

Interment will follow in Concord Church Cemetery.
