Glenda L. Kelly, 82, of West Pittsburg, PA passed away on February 22, 2026, at her residence after a 2-year battle with cancer.
Glenda was born on March 15, 1943, to the late Glenn B. and Bernice (Yoho) Hennon of Chewton. She married Dale G. Kelly on December 2, 1961.
She was raised in Chewton, attending Chewton Elementary School to 8th grade and graduated from Lincoln High School Ellwood City, PA with the class of 1961. She attended Chewton Christian Church, where she later sang in the choir and served as the song leader.
After marriage, Glenda was a member of the 1st United Presbyterian Church of Darlington, PA, where she served as secretary for 8 years, served as a Sunday School Teacher, song leader, member of the choir, financial secretary, and as a member of the Board of Trustees. Also, she was song leader, youth group director, and served on several church boards.
She was currently a member of Moravia Presbyterian Church, Hilltoppers of Moravia Presbyterian Church, Moravia, PA and Challenges in Ellwood City, PA, and a knitting group, in Ellwood City.
While living in Florida for 4 years she was employed at The Paper Tree and Keller & Associates. After moving back to Big Beaver, she was employed at ESCO Sand Co and Copart Auto Auction, Ellwood City, PA. She retired in 2003. Glenda loved oil painting, ceramics, cross stitch, reading, and singing.
She is survived by son, Richard Dale (Jennifer) Kelly of Upper St. Clair, son, William Todd Kelly of North Carolina, daughter, Janet Kelly of West Pittsburg; 4 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Heeter, Kelli (Brandon) Allen, Grace Kelly, and Luke Kelly; two great-grandchildren, Cora and Lincoln Allen; brother-in-law, Carl Kelly; 3 sisters-in-law, Nora Bell Howard, Ruth Peterson, and Carol Shelenberger, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale G. Kelly, parents, son, David Glenn in 1963; grandson, Adam T. Kelly in 2004; brother, Dr. Charles B. Hennon; sister, Nora J. Allen; brothers-in-law, Vernon Kelly, Clarke E. Howard, Frank Dick Allen, James Shelenberger, David Peterson, and Paul Kelly and sisters-in-law, Alice Kelly, Jan Kelly, Pat Kelly, and Norma Kelly.
Per Glenda's wishes she will be cremated, then later buried at the foot of her father's grave. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Moravia Presbyterian Church.
