Jill Romanoski

Jill (Thellman) Romanoski, 67, of Koppel passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center following a long courageous battle with cancer. Her husband of 40 years, Darl L. Romanoski preceded her in death 9 years ago to the day as he died December 21, 2010.

Born November 7, 1952 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rebecca (Huffman) Thellman.

Jill graduated from Lincoln High School and was a member of the Koppel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed hosting Steeler parties. Jill remembered special dates of all her friends and family. She enjoyed giving gifts and collecting jewelry. Jill was known for always having a bottle of hot sauce in her purse. Her last happy times were spent at Conneaut Lake with her girlfriends this past summer.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Danielle Nicole Romanoski; brother, Ron (Ro) Thellman; brother in law, Ed (Sue) Romanoski; two sister in laws, Darlene Wiley, Jean Thellman; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Mark Romanoski on February 15, 2017 and a brother, Daniel G. Thellman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 26 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Rev. Jay Sterling of the Koppel United Methodist Church will officiate.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to two special friends, Debbie Suders and Peg DiFrischia who were always there for Jill during her illness. The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at the Beaver Valley Rehab and Vistas Hospice for the kind and compassionate care.
