Kelly Renna McDanel

Kelly Renna McDanel, 59, of Ellwood City passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born February 9, 1966, in Virginia, she was the daughter of Hap and Sally Pander. She married Alan McDanel Sr. on October 2, 1999.

Kelly earned her degree from Geneva College and currently worked as an insurance agent for Beneigh Insurance in Zelienople. She was fond of her pets, both past and present, and enjoyed going camping. Above all, Kelly cherished moments spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 25 years, Alan; two sons, Dan (Gil Ballesteros) Brenner of Frisco, Texas and Alan (Angel) McDanel Jr. of Ellwood City; two daughters, Kayla (Fiancé Chris Vanasky) McDanel of New Castle and Kristy (Jared) Jenkins of New Castle; parents, Hap & Sally Pander of Ellwood City, father-in-law Benny McDanel of Greenville, sister-in-law, Kelly (Chris) Kauffmann and family of New Castle; brother-in-law, Dan (Christine) McDanel and family of Fredonia, sister-in-law Lisa (Jim) Goad and family of Portland, Oregon and her nine grandchildren, Megan, Amelia, Wyatt, Kayden, Christopher, Aurora, Jasmine, Everlee, and Beau. As well as her beloved friend, Deb.

A private celebration of Kelly's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers she asks that you make a donation in her name to your local animal shelter or to Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church.
