Lawrence "Larry" Stinson, 57, of Wayne Twp. passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital following a long battle with heart disease.
Born June 6, 1968, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Dorothy Wallace Stinson.
Larry attended Lincoln High School. He was the proud owner and operator of Stinson Lawn Care for almost 30 years. Skillful with his hands, some of his hobbies were building cabins, repairing and restoring cars, and riding his motorcycle. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking, feeding birds, growing flowers, hunting, and watching the Koi in his pond. He cherished his dogs and loved traveling with his wife Susie.
Survivors include his loving wife of 9 years, Susie Tipton Stinson; son, Chris Palmer of Washington; daughter, Morgan (Richard Newton) Carpenter of Leetonia, OH; five brothers, Denny (Nancy) of Ellwood City, Jim (Paula) of New Castle, Roger of Ellwood City, Robert of New Castle, and Richard Stinson of Ohio; four grandchildren; Ava, Jameson, Levi, and Carissa, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday September 27, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm and on Sunday September 28, 2025, from 1 until the Funeral Service at 2 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Dave McQuaid of the 1st Baptist Church will officiate.
