Mary Ann Beatty

Mary Ann Beatty, 82, of Beaver Falls passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, following a brief illness.

Born November 15, 1942, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary Lou (Braham) Trotter. Mary Ann married Thomas Beatty in June of 1963. They were married 29 years until his death on September 20, 1992.

Mary Ann graduated from Mohawk High School and Sewickley School of Nursing. She was a devoted nurse until her retirement. Mary Ann was a member of CUP EP Church where she served as a Deacon and a Shine Children's program worker. She enjoyed shopping, playing cards, bocce, all things county fair related and most importantly spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Douglas (Karen) Beatty and Todd Beatty; five grandchildren, Lindsey (Rick) Henry, Kayla (Dylan) Clark, Thomas (Elyssa) Beatty, Amanda Beatty, and Matthew (Kacee) Beatty. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Claire and Carson Henry, Jace and Cade Beatty, Evelyn Clark, and Cameron Beatty, and sister-in-law, Nancy (George) Rodgers. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends and was affectionately called Grandma Beatty by many!

In addition to her parents and husband Tom, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Trotter, sister Nancy Trotter, sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Trotter and Martha Ann Beatty, and her brother-in-law, Ken Beatty.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday May 23, 2025, from 3:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 6:30 pm at the CUP EP Church located at 530 Blackhawk Rd. Beaver Falls PA, 15010. Rev. Dr. Robert Frazier of Geneva College will conduct the services. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the CUP EP Church or to the MS Society.

Mary Ann's arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
