Mary Jane (Boyer) Boots, 84, of Fombell passed away June 18th peacefully with family by her side. Mary Jane was born on January 16th, 1941, in Ellwood City to the late Ira and Mary (Daufen) Boyer of Fombell.

Mary Jane was the 5th generation to live on her family farm founded in 1820 located in Fombell, Pa. She graduated from Zelienople High school in 1958.

After graduation, Mary Jane worked at the Ellwood Knitting Mills. She married the love of her life on July 16th, 1961. Following this, they moved to Frankfurt, Germany for three years while Wilbur served in the Army. Upon returning home they built their family home in Fombell, PA where they raised three children.

After her children were grown, Mary Jane went to work as a lunch monitor in the Riverside School District for over 20 years. During her time, she worked at Marion, Hillcrest, and the Riverside Primary Center.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and completing puzzles, but especially spending time with her 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mary Jane is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Jim) Fullerton of Bothell, WA; two sons Richard of Fombell, and Raymond (Jennifer) Boots of Fombell; Grandchildren Julia Fullerton of Seattle, WA and Emma Fullerton of Dillon, MT; Joshua (Kristina) Boots of Clinton, PA; Jordan (Courtney) Boots of Fombell, PA; and Raven (Eric) Sharp of Painesville, OH. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren Hunter, Reagan, and Jenna Sharp, Rocko and Nash Boots, and Juniper and Everett Boots. Mary Jane is also survived by one sister, Clara (Paul) Carder and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a brother-in-law Don Boots of West Pittsburg.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Wilbur L. Boots; her parents Ira and Mary (Daufen) Boyer; brothers Clifford and John Boyer.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday June 22, 2025, from 1 pm to 3 pm and from 6 pm until the Memorial Service at 8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Sean Brubaker will officiate.

Mary Jane was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City. Memorial contributions may be made to: Calvin Presbyterian Church or Ellwood City Food Bank.
