Mary Jane Navolio

Mary Jane Navolio, 93, of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospice House following an extended illness.

Born July 27, 1932, in Chewton, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Wigley Hergenrother.

Mary Jane graduated from Lincoln High School and then Geneva College. She worked as a store manager for various locations of Scharr Jewelry Distributors. She was a member of the former St. Agatha Church in Ellwood City.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa (Ken) Gates and Melinda (Brad) Miles; two sons, Mark Navolio and Michael (Brenda) Navolio; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and sister, Valli (David) Mittner Ripley of AZ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Mae Hergenrother.

Per her request, no services will be held. She will be interred in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
