Maude V. Shoaf

Maude V. Shoaf (98) of Brown Road passed away on July 16, 2025. Mrs. Shoaf was born October 28, 1926, to the late Emmett and Clara Ferree Lutz. She was married to Curtis Shoaf for 63 years until his passing in 2010.

She was a member of Park Gate Baptist Church. As a young woman, Maude worked at Mathew's conveyer.

A devoted homemaker, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Maude is survived by her sons and daughters in-law, Curt and Dee Shoaf of Watseka, IL, Ken and Esther Shoaf of Ellwood City and daughter and son-in-law Beverly (Betsy) and Chuck Means from Ellwood City, with whom she resided; grandchildren, Emily (Jerry) Donahue of Volant, Curtis (Malissa) Shoaf of Mahomet, IL, Jennifer Shoaf (Dave Syska) of Ellwood City, Ken (Valerie) Shoaf Jr of Ellwood City, Jodi (Jeff) Patinski of Seven Fields, and Bill Means (Vicki Schlichtkrull) of Ellwood City; great-grandchildren, Dakota Hampton of New York, NY, Alexis Lundmark (Ryan Kuntz) of Volant, CJ (Emma), Elaina, and Ashley Shoaf all of Mahomet, IL, Kaysen and Paisley Conver of Ellwood City, Brook Cooper of Largo, FL, Anika and Zane Shoaf of Ellwood City, Allison and Kaylin Patinski both of Seven Fields and Malayna and Alivia Means both of Ellwood City and two great great-grandchildren Felicity and Julian Hampton both of New York, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Shoaf in 2010, brother Norman Lutz, several step siblings and in-laws.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday July 19, 2025 from 1:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Rev. Charles Brown will officiate. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
