Michael J. Mccutcheon

Michael J. McCutcheon, 56, of Kyle Rd., New Castle (North Beaver Twp.) passed away at his home on Friday, March 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with lymphoma.

Born January 28, 1962 in New Brighton, he was the son of the John and Bonnie Jones McCutcheon of New Brighton. Mike was married for 30 years to Wendy Lipp McCutcheon who survives.

Mike graduated from New Brighton High School and Westminster College where he played football. He was employed as the Manager at Kay Jeweler’s in Hermitage. He was an avid Pittsburgh and Notre Dame sports enthusiast. He loved attending his nieces and nephews sporting events, jam music and his dogs. Mike had deep connections with many friends who will truly miss him.

In addition to his parents and wife, survivors include a sister, Kim (Randy) Alexander of Beaver Falls; brother, Tim (Kathy) McCutcheon of North Beaver Twp.; his in laws, Ed and Marty Lipp of New Castle; a brother in law, Evan (Heather) Lipp of Shrewsbury, MA; his niece and nephews, Ryan and Matthew Alexander, Nathan and Karly McCutcheon, Jacob (Susie) Lipp, and Coupar Lipp; and his great nephew Shane Alexander.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday April 2 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Mike’s friend, Thom Brozich officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Jackson Presbyterian Cemetery.
