Paul R. Zurynski

Paul Robert Zurynski passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his residence with his loved ones steadfastly surrounding him.

Paul was born on September 17, 1956, in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Paul and Jane (Watson) Zurynski. He graduated from Big Beaver Falls Area High School with the Class of 1974. He was a long-time member, and even an altar boy, at the former St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Koppel, PA (now a part of the Divine Grace Parish).

Paul spent his employment years as a dedicated and skillful machinist and a tool and die maker. But, most people remember Paul as a man of many outdoor passions. He will be remembered primarily as an accomplished fisherman and an avid hunter. When not with his friends or family, Paul would typically be found scouting for different locations to hunt or fish.

He leaves his son, Kyle Zurynski of Ohioville, PA; daughter, Kayla Zurynski of Beaver Falls, PA; and six grandchildren: Ava, Kyla, Ahna, Amar, Arin, and Arlo.

He also leaves his sister and brother-in-law Lori (Zurynski) & Phil Wimer, of Apopka, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph & Nancy (Markey) Zurynski of Wampum, PA; a very special friend, Toni Swager; as well as several nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family members and friends.

To honor Paul’s wishes, no services will be held. The interment will be at the Clinton Cemetery.

In place of gifts, please give to one of Paul’s favorite charities, Saint Jude’s Research Hospital (saintjude.org/donate), or contribute to the donor’s favorite charity “In Memory of Paul R. Zurynski.”

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
