Robert Moyer 2019

Robert W. Moyer, 69, of Smiley Stop Rd., Wayne Twp. passed away on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023.

He was born in Ellwood City on March 14, 1953. He was the son of the late Walter H. and Mary B. Pappas Moyer.

He was a member of the White Eagle Polish Club in Chewton.

Bob enjoyed the good things in life. He lived on his own terms, his way! He enjoyed spending time with Bev, his children, grandchildren, and friends. He was an outdoorsman who loved running his dogs, hunting, gardening, butchering, and working on old tractors. You were guaranteed to have a good time if he was around. He had a story about everything!

He is survived by his long time companion Beverly Rice; son Robert Ryan (Heather), Homer City; son Cliff (Jennifer), Homer City; grandchildren, Abigale, Elizabeth, Cash, Robert Michael, Isabella, and Taylin; many brothers and sisters; and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Rose, and brother-in-law Edward Bennethum.

He will be sadly missed by his family and all that knew him. He was always joking around and you could hear his laugh everywhere that he was. We would love to hear his laugh one more time!

Friends will be received on Saturday March 25, 2023 from 2:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St. Wampum. Pastor Jeff Gardner will officiate. The family will continue the celebration of Bob’s life with food and stories immediately following the service at the Chewton Polish Club.

His final resting place will be at the Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.
