Ronald E. Wallace, 82, of Wampum passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Quality Life Services New Castle following a short illness.

Born January 11, 1944 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Clarence E. "Ed" and Mildred McQuiston Wallace.

Ronnie graduated from Ellwood City High School and then proudly served in the Navy. He was a machinist by trade and first worked for Mesta Machine in New Castle. Following his time at Mesta Machine, Ronnie worked for McClean Trucking in West Middlesex until his retirement. He was Christian by faith.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Jr. and Michael Wallace both of New Castle; three grandchildren, Lacey, A.J., and Marley Wallace; three sisters, Lana Louise (Harvey) Jewett of San Diego, Debbie (Paul) Porazzo of Mesa, AZ, and Martha Gavroy of Sun City, AZ; two brothers, David Wallace of Hazel Green, AL and Thomas M. (Cathy) Wallace of Ellwood City; special friend, Judy Glendening of Michigan; sister-in-law, Nancy Wallace of Ellwood City, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Wallace.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
