Rudolph L. Shirilla Jr.

Rudolph L. "Rudy" Shirilla Jr., 75, of Beaver Falls (North Sewickley Twp.) went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Born December 10, 1949, at Mary Evans in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Rudolph L. Sr. and Annie (Bucci) Shirilla.

He graduated from Seneca Valley with the class of 1969. Following graduation, he dedicated three years to the Army, with two of those years spent in Vietnam. Throughout his life he held various jobs, including positions at Freed's Meat Provisions in Evans City, Mussig Greenhouse in Zelienople, George Garrett Company in Ellwood City, American Asbestos in Cranberry, and he was a member of the Laborer's Local Union #373 in Pittsburgh. Rudy had a passion for hunting and fishing. Above all, Rudy cherished the time spent with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lorraine (Hockenberry) Shirilla whom he married on August 25, 1973, and his two sons, Loren of Beaver Falls and Louis "Louie" Shirilla of Ellwood City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn "Kitty" Pearl of Cabot.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.
