William Guy Hollencamp

William Guy Hollencamp, 66, of Wampum passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Heritage Valley – Beaver following a brief illness.

Born March 12, 1957 in New Castle, he was the son of the late William B. and Delores Stewart Hollencamp.

Bill had graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976. He previously worked for Smith Paving and currently worked at the Ellwood City Forge in Maintenance. He was an active member of the Park Gate Baptist Church where he loved to sing in the choir. Some of his interests were gardening, cutting firewood, and watching the Pirates, whom he loved. William donated his blood platelets and plasma thru the American Red Cross. His most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 43 years Catherine Fisher Hollencamp; two daughters, Jodie (Artie) Christou of Wampum and Joy (Nicholas) Bender of New Castle; son, James (Caitlin) Hollencamp of Enon Valley; two sisters, Sondra (David) Williams of Beaver Falls and Mariann Hollencamp of Ellwood City; two brothers, Larry (Pauline) and David (Fiancée Lisa McCutchen) Hollencamp both of Ellwood City and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Rose Ferrante Hollencamp who raised him, and his infant sister.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday June 22, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the Park Gate Baptist Church on Friday June 23, 2023 at 11:00 am with his Pastor Zach Fry officiating.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
