In Loving Memory

Dear Family of Carie Ann Harris,

My deepest sympathies on your loss. I teach Science with Mike at Moon Middle School. I wanted you to know that Mike talked fondly of Carie often. When we would ask each other what our plans were for the weekend he would always reply that he was looking forward to spending time with his girlfriend Carie. It was obvious that he cared for her very much.
Again, my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Sincerely,
Frank Todd

I did not know Carie personally but I was born and raised in East Liverpool and have lived in Salem for many years so I have read all the comments about what a wonderful person and dedicated teacher she was so I want to offer my sympathies to her family members, friends and students. I am very sorry for your tragic loss and also for the friend that was lost with her.

To the Shenesky family,

On behalf of my mother Ida, (Carie's neighbor) my wife and myself, I want to extend our heartfelt sympathies to you all for the passing of Carie.

We all enjoyed talking with her and "sharing" stories of our little ones.( Caden is our son and when my mom would watch him, Isabella would play with him sometimes.) We also enjoyed listening to Carie talk about her students and the fulfillment she got out of teaching. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy her job and her time at school.

Carie taught at my alma mater and I know the "Beaver Local family" is grieving with you as well.

Casual observation also enhanced our feelings on how good of a mother Carie was to Isabella, showing the love, discipline, and caring of her dear daughter.

In closing, may God's divine grace be with you all during this most difficult time and grant you the peace in knowing that many lives were touched for knowing Carie.

God Bless,
Greg, Amy, & kids, and Ida Arcuri

To the Dear Family of Mrs. Harris,
I can't even begin to explain how saddened I am and how much sorrow I feel for her dear family. I was one of Carie's students at Beaver Local High School. She was one of my most favorite teachers my sophomore year. I remember that the Science class I was in that she taught was one of my most loved classes to go into each and every day. I know that she was a really kind and caring person and that is the one of the many things that loved about her as my teacher. And I also loved that she was so caring towards each and every one of us that was ever one of her dear students. I know that I will deeply miss her so that's why I'm always gonna keep a positive uplifting smile on my face each and every day because I know that is what she would have wanted me to do. I will greatly keep her memory in my heart as well as you, her dear family in my thoughts and prayers as well as my heart also.

With much Love and Dear Respect,

Dear Naomi and John,
You have our deepest symphathy on the passing of Carie. What a loss to all
who knew her! We can only imagine what it would have done to our families if
we had left them at 33 years of age.
We trust God will sustain the lives of those left here and that she is at
peace with her maker earlier than us. I hope to meet her in Heaven and
maybe talk about earthly biology.
May God bless and keep you.

Mr. and Mrs. Shenesky,

I met you briefly at Ms. Harris' calling hours today, as well as a few friends of hers. It's no surprise to me now why Ms. Harris was such a sweet person, how could she not be when she was surrounded with such loving family and friends. I didn't have the opportunity to speak with you long, and I probably couldn't have put into words at the time how much of an impact your daughter had on my life. Aside from just being my tennis coach, she was a friend, and one of the few people I've known that was absolutely genuine.

Ms. Harris inspired me to be a better person. She was always so patient, but firm. She pushed people to be their best, and really taught me the value of self discipline.

I had the opportunity to reconnect with her recently, and over lunch one day I was able to express to her how much I appreciated her as a person. I'm so grateful to have had that time with her.

Aside from just being kind and loving, she was elegant and refined. She put others first, was always humble, and never spoke badly of people. I can honestly say that I have never known another person like her, and couldn't ever hope to meet anyone that would come close.

Even these words can't tell you how I viewed her, because she was so completely unique. I hope that you can find some comfort in knowing that Ms. Harris gave love freely and also recieved it equally in return, and for knowing her I am a better person.

My deepest sympathy,
