Edythe M. Wharton

Edythe M. Wharton, 78, formerly of Denny Schill Manor, Ellwood City died on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Evergreen Nursing Center following a lengthy illness.

Born May 18, 1933 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late George Hogue and Kathleen Mason Hogue O'Donnell .

Edythe enjoyed playing bingo and making crafts..

Survivors include 5 children - Donna, LaForrest "Bud", Susan, Jodi, Bonnie; a sister - Ida Belle "Audi" Hargitt; 2 brothers - Ken Hogue, John O'Donnell; her long time companion, Dean "Squeak" Morrison; and many grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda and a son, Alex "Boo".

Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 24, 2011 from 2 -4 and 6 until the time of the funeral service at 8 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Inc. 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.
