Eileen F. Wigley

Eileen F. Wigley, 94, formerly of West Pittsburg died on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Avalon Nursing Center following an extended illness.

Born September 1, 1916 in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Shannon and Margaret Lukehart Hickman.

Eileen retired after 29 years from Airway Luggage. She was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and music; especially polkas and Hawaiian.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Dann and Mary Zelic of Wampum, PA; a daughter, Sharon of Portersville; a brother and sister in law, Bill and Ruth Hickman of FL; five grandchildren: Carl Schumaker, Michael Schumaker, Dann Zelic, Mike Zelic, and Dana Cirelli; eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wigley was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Hickman, a sister, Helen Galdony and a great grandson, Dann Zelic.

Private funeral services were held at the Marshall Funeral Home in Wampum with Pastor Dick Allen of the Chewton Christian Church officiating.

Interment followed in the Savannah Cemetery in New Castle.
