Glenola Virginia Buquo

Glenola Virginia Buquo, 95, of Mesa, Arizona formerly of Ellwood City, PA died on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Mimosa Springs Assisted Living Center following an extended illness.

Born September 7, 1915 in Beaver Falls, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Charles and Viola N. Weatherby Powell.

She was married for 62 years to Robert Buquo who passed away September 15, 1997.

Mrs. Buquo was a member of the Church of the Master Presbyterian Church in Arizona. While residing in Ellwood City, she was a member and the secretary of Knox Presbyterian Church.

Glenola is survived by two sons - James (Emma) Buquo of Scottsdale, AZ, John (Marie) Buquo of Ft. Collins, CO; one brother - Royce Powell of Lyle, WA; two granddaughters - Marnie (Jeff) Brookins, Shenta (Scott) Pietrzak; one grandson - Robert R. (Tracy) Buquo and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Gallagher.

Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, June 22, 2011at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Elizabeth Wallace of Knox Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
