In Loving Memory

I was saddened by the news of Joe's passing. Joe and I started first grade together in Wampum, and than graduated from Mohawk. this year, we are celebrating our 40th class reunion. I had worked on past reunion committees, and had attempted to find Joe for an invite. I will tell a story. In fourth grade, at Wampum high school, Joe, Karen Edwards, Bill Jackson and I were chosen to sing a Christmas song. It was my first time I stood in front of an audience and was probably slightly nervous. If I remember correctly, the concert was given at the Wampum gymnasium. This experience also inspired my love for live theater, and today, I am an avid fan and love the performing arts. I relayed the sad news to the reunion committee, and convey my deepest sympathy to Joe's family.
