We are so sorry for your loss. We read about it in the paper. We no longer have a car so unable to be there. We are still at Passavant but had to move to Wittenburg to an apartment. If we can help you in any way, maybe just talking, please visit us anytime. Our love and condolences, Jim and Margaret Lotz

Pete and Jodi --
It's your cousin Leslie. So sorry for your loss. Lori was a beautiful woman and I was so impressed by what I learned in the obituary. I have wonderful memories of summer times that she, Lynn and I spent together, both at your house and at ours in Moon. God bless both of you.

Love,
Leslie

Dear Pete and Jodi,

So very sorry for your loss. And I so regret that I haven't been a better cousin to all three of you throughout the years...

I have some very specific and fond memories of all three of you...Pete, I remember the time that you walked from your place in town out to our house in the country, more or less on a whim, I think. You just felt like hanging out :-)

I remember when we moved into Moon Twp. Leslie and I spent a few days in Ellwood with Lori one or two summers, and then she came and spent a few days with us. We must have been around 12 when our Moms took us into downtown Pittsburgh for lunch. I remember Lori saying about Aunt Pat and in front of Aunt Pat that she "never had a lick of sense." She was obviously kidding, and it cracked all of us up, especially your Mom.

Jodi, your family visited us in Moon Twp when you were, I swear, just 3 years old. You had this gorgeous, almost waist-long hair, and I remember my Mom taking you across the street to show up a neighbor whose daughter was the same age and whose mom was becoming increasingly distraught about how little hair she had. You were also wearing this full length leather coat :-)

I bought a book Wednesday night called "Heaven is Real" to send to Lori. I wish I had gotten it in the mail weeks earlier, but she's now experiencing that truth for herself.

I sometimes wish life hadn't scattered all of us primos all over the country.

Please know that the thoughts and prayers of the Johns cousins are with our Hill cousins.

Love,
Lynn

To the family of Lori Dent:

Although I did not know the family, Lori was a dear person and friend of mine while I worked at the Villa. She was one of the nicest compassionate persons I have ever met. She worked extremely hard and was devoted to her husband and family. IT was funny that we both were always at the Villa at 6am and would greet each other. I am sad to hear the news of her passing.

I will miss her dearly. I will make an effort to give a contribution to the Breast Cancer Foundation and American Lung Association in her memory each year.

My prayers go out to each family member and all the friends of Lori. I know she was loved by all.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Melissa Bertini

To the Family:

I did not know Lori, but her friend, Diane Groblewski told me how wonderful and caring she was.

What a beautiful difference one single life made. Sympathetic thoughts are with your family.

I am very sorry for your heavy loss.

To the family of Lori Dent,

My mother has been a resident of Villa St Joseph for some years now and I was so thankful to meet Lori. I
could talk to her about my concerns and ask her any
question, she always had time for me. She was kind and had so much compassion. She lived the mission statement of the Villa. I missed her the first time she
took a leave of absence and was so happy she was able
to come back to work, I have missed her these last long
months and will continue to miss her. I know she is at rest now and free of pain. God's blessings on her family now and for always. Roseann U.

Dearest Mel , Phillip . I am so sorry about Lori. We had a lot of fun on trips to the mountains. She was a very loving and just a darn nice person. I know everyone will miss her. May the memories you have help ease your pain. Love and Prayers--Dave & Denise (Vesco) Holfelder

Pete and family, Jodi and family, Mel and Phil and family,

How many memories our family shared with Lori, Pete, and Jodi's clan. The number of Saturdays that we cousins were at the bowling alley or the roller skating rink. I remember thinking that we'd be best friends forever. I truly wish we'd stayed in closer touch over the years.
I'm very grateful to be in contact with Jodi via Facebook now.

I also remember when Uncle Sam and Aunt Pat returned from a vacation to Acapulco bearing extraordinary gifts for all of you. I was so jealous! (I think that's where Jodi's leather coat might have come from. : ))

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and that we are very sorry for your terrible loss.

Much love,
Betsy Ann

Mel and Phillip,

We were so very sorry to hear about the passing of Lori. She was a wonderful, caring, giving person who we had the privledge of living next door to for many years. We have so many wonderful memories with all of you and think about you guys often. Lori was always there for me growing up, sitting on the front porch having our many, many talks. I remember it like it was just yesterday, how time flys. I know many years have passed without contact, but you will all always have a place in our hearts and Lori will be missed greatly.

With all our love and deepest sympathy,
Lori, Debbie and Jerry Burkholder

I worked with Lori here@ Villa St. Joseph since the time she came on board as the neighborhood manager. She did a great job on the neighborhood and it is unfortunate that the Villa lost such a devoted and dedicated employee. Her strength and courage that she displayed to others during her illness is very much admired and she will always be remembered for all of these qualities. May God bless you during your time of loss and sorrow and may your memories allow you to find peace in your heart.

To the family of Lori Dent:

I treasure wonderful days growing up with my cousins even though few and far between due to Dad's Army life. I especially treasure recent family reunions visiting with cousins and getting to know Lori as the great person she had become. My love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Cousin Barbara Arket Venable

Jodi and Pete....When talking about Lori and how many fun first things we experienced I wanted to also include how much fun it was to "grow up a Hill" (but by that time I didn't think I could say much more without breaking down). Your parents made growing up a teenager so much fun and I learned alot from them....all good by the way....she was a great sister.....and truly wonderful, dedicated friend, nurse, wife and mother....and I will miss her always.....remember her with smiles and laughter....we certainly had many....lots of love Pam (Kennard) Lindstrom

To Lori's family,

I really didn't have the opportunity to keep in touch with my cousins in the Ellwood area, but I was glad to see you all at Uncle Frank's party. Although I didn't know you as adults, I am grateful for the time I spent babysitting Pete and Lori when you all were very little. I am so sorry for your loss. Cousin Sue Hill Jones

Many condolences for the family of Lori. I knew Lori when I worked at the villa for a little over a year. She was absolutely a wonderful nurse as well as a person and she will be missed deeply.
