Marsha L. Blash


Marsha L. BlashMarsha L. Blash, 49, of ES Farms Dr. Cranberry Twp. died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at her residence.

Born July 22, 1961 in Ellwood City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Shirley I. Harvey Kosior.

Marsha was a member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Twp. She graduated from Shenango High School in New Castle where she was active in sports. She enjoyed reading and golfing. Her most cherished time was spent with family.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Derek B. Blash; one son - Joshua L. Blash at home; step daughter - Khrista Helfer Ross of Cornelius, NC; step son - Drew Blash of Monroeville, PA; sister, Sonia (Daniel) Kuczynski of New Castle; two brothers: Steven (Karen) Kosior of St. Albans, WV, Scott Kosior of New Castle; three nieces and three nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday March 25, 2011 from 6 to 9 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home 341 Main Street Wampum.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Mary Mother of Hope Church in New Castle on March 26, 2011 at 9:00 am with Rev. Father Victor J. Molka Jr. officiating.

Entombment will follow in Parkside Cemetery in Shenango Twp.
