Patricia Alice Prestia

Patricia Alice Prestia, 82, of Ellwood City went to be with her Lord Saturday July 2, 2011.

Born March 1, 1929, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Quinn) Savage of McKeesport, PA.

She married Guy Prestia, her husband of fifty-four years, on June 29, 1957.

Pat was a graduate of Riverside High School and retired from Ellwood City Hospital where she served as both a Nurse Aide and Central Supply Aide. She was an active member of Park Gate Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and AWANA and also served as a member of the Park Gate Missionary Boosters. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed her flower garden.

She is survived by husband Guy and children Lawrence Montgomery of Lubbock, TX, Edward Prestia (Connie) of Fort Mill, SC, William Prestia of Howard City, MI, Ronald Prestia (Linda) of Ellwood City, PA, Jay Prestia (Elizabeth) of Howard City, MI, Patricia Partington of Ellwood City, PA, Janie Chambers (Jared) of Albuquerque, NM, Guy Prestia (Sandy) of Norway, ME, Donna Straatsma (John) of Morley, MI, 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both parents and siblings John, Alfred, Jane, Catherine and Mary.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City and from 10 until the time of the funeral service at 11 on Wednesday, July 6 at the Park Gate Baptist Church.
