Robert L. McMunn

Robert L. McMunn, 68, of Whieldon Ave. Ellwood City (Frisco) died on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the West Penn Hospital following a brief illness.

Born August 15, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Ralph E. and Edith P. Moore McMunn.

Mr. McMunn retired in August 2003 following 29 years of service at the Ellwood City Forge. He was a former member of the Wurtemburg Methodist Church. He was musically inclined and enjoyed playing the organ. He volunteered at the Evergreen Nursing Home.

Survivors include 2 sisters - Donna Moyer and Shirley Smith, both of New Castle.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry McMunn and Ralph McMunn in infancy.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 6 until the time of the funeral service at 8 at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City.

Interment will follow in the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
