Terry L. McCreary

Terry L. McCreary, 61, of Center Ave. Ellwood City died on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born September 30, 1950 in Salem , OH, he was the son of Donald McCreary of Enon Valley and the late Dorothy Sprankle McCreary .

He was married to Lola Tausch McCreary who survives.

Terry worked at Gadja Trucking in Volant as a mechanic for 9 years. He was a Veteran of the Army, serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed woodworking and repairing lawn mowers. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be missed by all.

In addition to his father, Donald and his wife, Lola, he is survived by 3 sons - Charles Tausch of TX, Robert Hysell of TN, Greg McCreary of IN; 3 daughters - Bridgett Wimer of Beaver Falls, Connie Twentier of Ellwood City, Melissa Freightner of IN; 5 sisters - Shari Price of OH, Sandy Mollenkof of OH, Michelle Haviland of Enon Valley, Jodi Houstan of Bessemer, Tammy McCreary of Enon Valley; 2 brothers - Don McCreary Jr., Robert McCreary, both of Enon Valley; 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Enon Valley Presbyterian Church. Pastor Phil Conklin of the First Church of God will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Little Beaver Cemetery.
