Ethel Marian Moskal
Ethel Marian Moskal passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the golden age of 101. She was born on September 11, 1908 in Ellwood City, a daughter of the late William Koach and Mollie Swick Koach. Ethel married Jacob Hudspath, Sr on February 27, 1926 and together had two sons. William Melvin Hudspath, 83 of Ellwood City and the late Jacob Hudspath, Jr. who passed away in 1994. Ethel Married Samuel Moskal in 1950 until his death in 1995. She lived in one of the oldest homes in the Burnstown area until the age of 92 then relocated to Trinity Oaks Care Center in Ellwood City. She was in fine health until recently and enjoyed writing songs, traveling around the world and gospel music. She attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Ellwood City. She is survived by one son, William Hudspath Sr. and eleven grandchildren; Joyce Smida, Duane Hudspath, William Hudspath Jr. Mark Hudspath, Gayle Vendetti, Timothy Hudspath, Ernest Hudspath, Holly Sbarro, Della Scala, Vaughn Hudspath, and Star Kraschinsky. In addition, she had 23 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Marshall Funeral Home 200 Fountain Avenue Ellwood City will be on Thursday from 2 pm until the time of a family ceremony at 4 pm. Donations in her memory may be made to the Ellwood City Public Library and the New Castle Rescue Mission.
